IMPROVING STUDENT WELL-BEING

Community Partnership Schools enhance student outcomes by turning schools into resource hubs that provide support and opportunities for students, families, and neighborhoods. This initiative, supported by the University of Central Florida (UCF), involves partnerships between school districts, universities, nonprofits, and healthcare providers. The Community Partnership Schools™ model, launched at Evans High School in 2010, aims to meet students' needs, remove academic barriers, and help them reach their full potential. United Way St. Lucie & Okeechobee is proud to be the nonprofit connection between UCF and our two schools, Weatherbee Elementary and White City Elementary, to strengthen and support the community.

• Connections to critical resources such as healthcare and housing.
• Academic engagement experiences, parent workshops, and after-school programming.
• On-site physical and mental health services.
