Bio:

Wendy Voliva is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with a distinguished career spanning nonprofit development, human services, and public-sector leadership. She currently serves as the Marketing Director for the Council on Aging of St. Lucie County, where she leads strategic communications, community outreach, and partnership initiatives that support the agency’s mission to serve older adults with dignity, independence, and compassion.
With extensive experience in strategic communication, donor relations, public information, and program promotion, Wendy has held key roles with organizations such as The Salvation Army, the City of Virginia Beach Human Services Department, and the City of Portsmouth, Virginia. Across these positions, she has built a strong reputation for developing impactful narratives, strengthening organizational visibility, and fostering collaborative relationships.
In her role as a Board Member of the St. Lucie County Long-Term Recovery Coalition, Wendy brings a deep commitment to community resilience and coordinated recovery efforts. Her expertise in communication strategy, partnership development, and resource mobilization equips her to contribute meaningfully to the coalition’s mission of guiding long-term recovery and enhancing preparedness for residents throughout the county.
